ASTRAY, not ashtray

s’égarer; nella direzione sbagliata; 迷路; vom rechten Weg abgekommen; por mal camino

adverb, adjective

1. Out of the right way; off the correct or known road, path, or route:
“Despite specific instructions, they went astray and got lost.”

There is definitely (unbearable) pressure coming out of university to magically land the perfect job, find your soulmate, get an apartment, do the marriage, buy the house in the suburbs, have the kids.

This “recipe for success” is not how my life functions. Whether it is divine intervention or my eternal stubbornness, my wanderlust always had something else in mind for my life.

So here I am, astray.
